New businesses are opening every day in Kosovo, yet, the country is poised with a negative cycle of unemployment. Why is that so? That's what FES Kosovo tried to answer in their research study on the flaws of the employment cycle in Kosovo. The findings were interesting, yet, a bit grim.
To present the findings to the public, FES Kosovo partnered with us to create an educational animation video. The study was data-heavy, and our job was to introduce them in an appealing way that attains the public's attention.
So, with a bundle of information before us, we put our (creative) teacher hats on and jumped into the project.
Remember when the professor delivered a lecture on and on, and our minds would wander out? Then, this one professor pulled a superb presentation, and all eyes were on her. Well, that's the power of graphics.
As visual learners, we knew that we needed to create engaging graphics in this video to spark the audience's curiosity. So, we decided to create this as a motion-animated infographic. Our goal was to make each illustrated infographic stand-alone yet, steadily connect with the one before and after.
Because we were working with dire data, we created a positive vibe for the video using a minimal, modern style and bold colors. Our goal was not to scare the audience with the data but to familiarize them with the current state of unemployment and, as such, make informed decisions that benefit society.
